Shine - As the first light of dawn Sends tenuous tendrils of light Caressingly over the morning’s clouds Illuminating and glorifying their shape and texture, As the first rays of the exalting sun Embrace and saturate the hills and their sheltered life Energizing, healing, and animating every stem and limb, Inspiring every atom of earth to worship, So the light in you, A constellation of radiating ecstasy, Blossoms and transfigures Every rosebud, nucleus, galaxy and soul. Let your light shine! Without your soft mystic glow, This universe is incomplete and out of balance. You are God’s highest creation and blessing, You are fashioned to gleam and sanctify Everything within your generous encircling affection. Let your light shine! In every heartbeat Your grace fulfills the longing, In every breath Your benefaction answers the question, In every whisper Your voice’s beauty resolves the disbelief, In every glance Your sparkling eyes reveal the enigma. You are a saving light to this world. Let your light shine!
