Catching the endless wave! Is self publishing and broadcasting the gold rush of the 21st century? What do all industries have in common? If we consider pharmaceutical, power, telecommunication, personal care, nutrition, insurance and financial, they all rely on a single thing to expand, grow and survive. Can you guess it? Give up? They all rely on the massive transfer of understanding, belief and emotional relevance. Nobody parts with their money without understanding what it might mean, which is based on what they believe, and its relevance to their perception at the moment. Everything from making a purchase, to investing, to charity can be addressed by these very human cognitive functions. The transference of these concepts is called communication. So, in essence, business might be considered "profitable communication." Here is the challenge. WE ONLY REMEMBER 10 percent of what we read 20 percent of what we hear 30 percent of what we see 50 percent of what we see and hear This may be why radio is more effective than written words, why colorful ads are more powerful than radio, and why television is king! We all know that 80 percent of most new businesses fail. We also know that most new businesses do not have the budget for high end and long term advertising. Could it be that the greatest challenge of the new small business is simply the challenge in generating a large and effective conversation? Is the reason large companies are willing to spend millions of dollars for a minute or two in advertising because they reach such a large audience? Or, is it because messages are delivered in the most effective form of messaging -- video? It's for both reasons: massive exposure and maximum effectiveness. Since its creation, TV has been a tool reserved for the few for many reasons. Cost, complexity, cost, network approval, cost, advertiser approval and yes, you've guessed it, cost. 2005 heralds a changing of the guard. Fueled by Moore's Law (the doubling of computing power about every 18 months), creative innovation is ushering in the new world of communication: streaming video! Once a privileged technology of large corporations with budgets and technology, now it' become readily available to the common man. In fact, many predict that video will be the preferred and most common form of communication sooner than we think. And what will drive the technical transformation? Regulations? No! Technical sophistication? No! Good old human laziness! Yes! It's easier to talk than it is to type. Additionally, complex messages easily conveyed with speech and facial expressions are seldom captures by the average person picking out skillful words on a keyboard. The few people who can really capture meaning and emotion in written works have a name: best selling authors! And they are few and far between. IT is all here. Video email, person to person video communication, live video broadcasting, personal video-demand, and even turnkey instant person pay per view. It's not just the video streaming industry that is going to explode it's all industries. Why? Because business is profitable communication, and the most effective form of communication has been set free to the world for those with something to say. Business owners, trainers, coaches, salesmen, storytellers, performers, marketers, educators, priests, poets and prophets; welcome all to a brave new world! The greatest story to be seen is beginning, and there is a chapter with your name on it. Sales Agent.TV.
