Diversifying Your Income

Increasing your online income is one of the main things you should learn when you have a website.
Let us say 90% of your website profit come mostly from Google Adsense and your account got suspended. You would lose 90% of your website’’s profit, then what would you do? Can you recover your losses immediately? For most, it would be very difficult.
If you have a site, you can diversify by using pay-per-click, direct leads, CPA or cost per action or by receiving commissions from promoting products or services.
One of the easiest ways for an internet newbie to start getting money online that is fast and easy is through CPA (cost per action) Marketing! This style of affiliate marketing requires costumers to complete a particular action in order for one to get paid.
So how does CPA Affiliate Marketing work and, more importantly, how do you make cash from it?
Essentially, you act as a traffic broker and CPA networks acts as the middlemen. For the leads you make, you earn a commission from that specific advertiser. The major difference with the typical affiliate marketing and Cost per Action affiliate marketing is that there is no need to make a sale to get earn cash. You have to merely encourage the consumers to click on your advertisement and act as the advertiser would like them to do, such as signing up for a free trial or make an email subscription. Because a prospective consumer does not have to buy anything, and in fact even have a chance to get hold of a sample product or a free trial, it is actually easier for them to fill out a form and give out personal information. CPA networking often makes conversions a lot simpler. One problem with it though is that CPA marketing can be very competitive.
Opening other websites is another way of diversifying your income. Now, I have a number of sites that I create income from. Roughly 4 months back, Google banned one of my websites from their search engine! Among internet marketers, this is a common incident. Apparently my website had loads of outgoing links to sponsor ads and they considered it a "link farm". But that site at the time was bringing in around $1000 per month. If I didn’’t have all of my other websites to pick up the slack, can you imagine the mess that could have happened?
Having them on various servers is another way of diversifying your websites. Hosting is dirt cheap these days. Let us say you throw one or two of them up on a $5.99 a month server and pay for a year’’s worth of hosting, you are doing the right thing. Aside from the search engine benefits, you also do not have to worry if one of your servers will go down.
If you want to make the most money online then you absolutely need to multiply your income streams.
