Dear Dr Turi; Thank you, for your wonderful insights, thank you for your passion, and thank you for standing up for what I find as an inescapable conclusion to all that matters. I'm still learning even though I'm past what most would consider my prime. I've fought many battles just to be here, to learn all the truths I could find, to be this better person than I ever was before. Everyday I read retched untruths by our government that we are fighting for freedom. I deal with devout Christians who align themselves with false teachings. And somehow I continue on hoping this world could be a better place. Last week a Christian accused of being a utopian thinker, to which I said; "What's wrong with that? Shouldn't I want what's best for all of mankind?" I'm thankful for you, the coast to coast radio show, and having a wife who is also a truth seeker. It gets pretty lonely out here in the trenches but this is where we live. We give our love, kindness, and understanding with great patience ...... for this is our battle ground. I'd love for those lost souls to understand where you're coming from, but they shield themselves behind those false teachings afraid to have an open mind, to see, to comprehend, to stand up by themselves, and not be afraid to learn. It's those great fears they've learned through propaganda from the government and church, to hide themselves from the very truths that would save them. Yep, this is the trenches alright. I've shown a bright light into their self imposed dark dungeons of dread, they're in panic where they've learned to hide from all reasoning, I find the light just blinds them, so they huddle together only to collect the very fears that lead them there to begin with. Government has taught them to fear of the terrorist, fear of flu epidemics, and fear of being without them to guide us. The church has taught them fear of God's wrath, who loves you, yet would still send you to hell, fear of the devil, the antichrist, and fear of false prophets. Except for the prophets allowed in the bible ... no one else is allowed such latitude. The independents in this case are the total skeptics that believe no one, about anything, about nothing. Afraid to stray from their considered normal. So it might be safe to say they all believe have their collective bases covered in any event. My question to you is how can we blow this cover? (Please, feel free to let your thoughts roam here. We are only here to help you succeed in this wonderful quest of yours.) And if you need your thoughts spurned further please, read on as these are only suggestions. I say if anyone is teaching you any fear .... then you should be wary of them, for love and understanding is the great solution to all. To all those who clammer for your money only to tell you they need more, and that you're a dirty sinner anyway ..... be wary. To all those who even when proof is staring them in the face, would explain it away in antiseptic terms for they'll not capable of being open to learn, but only to hide in there own delusions of their considered norm. They'll always believe in nothing quite well. I say if you are living your life in any fearful manner then learn to stand up for you have much to learn. Don't hide in something that would harm you in such a way. If someone is telling you something of an opposing view give, it room in own mind to understand ..... for this is how you learn. Diagraming sentences was difficult to learn at one time, and so was algebra, but once learned, would serve you well to know. But close your mind to all those things you'd be fearful of, you and your little mind will be frozen shut, to fade away into that dark dungeon of dread, gripped with panic as you huddle together in that forever darkness of lost reasoning with others just like you. My wife says; "If you know better ..... just get over it!" I couldn't say it better myself. Sincerely Don & Patty
