As the warmer temperatures start to appear, they are a sign that it is time for us to get our bodies going again. The cold, dark winters of the northern climates have really put our bodies into a slower gear. Those work outs that kept us in shape in the summer have long been put away. The winter temperatures outside have caused our bodies to slow right down. We justify not going outside for some much needed activity because of the cold weather. It doesn"t matter whether you are a novice or an experienced bodybuilder, excuses come naturally. We"ve All Used These Ones Lets list some common excuses that I have heard of, knowing that you probably have never used these ones: 1. Are you kidding, it"s freezing outside! 2. I don"t feel like doing anything. 3. I worked my body really hard this summer and I"m due for some time off! 4. I don"t have time right now, maybe later. 5. Let"s skip this one and work out twice as hard next time. Don"t kid yourself, these are just typical excuses. All you need right now is just some good old exercise. If you can just ignore that little voice of yours that is always trying to trick you and get moving, you will stay in peak shape year round. Just remember that keeping your body healthy and strong is way easier than starting from scratch and trying to get your body into shape. You Need To Take Action Figure out what you like to do and turn it into some kind of exercise program. There are lots of options for programs that can be found online and in some cases can be downloaded at no charge. You can do a internet search for "training programs". You"ll be surprised at the number of different ones that you will find. You will find a program that will be suitable for you and help you start to build up your body mass. So now you"ve chosen your workout, what do you need to do next? Pick out your workout area. Not everyone can use or would prefer to go to a gym. These people can either work out in their basements or their garages. Key point here is that the location isn"t important, the fact that you are working out is. Block Off Some Time For Working Out Enter your workouts into your calendars, into your iphone, or you can use any other type of device that allows you to set aside some time. We all lead busy lives, we just need to adapt our busy schedules. Let your family know that the times you have chosen are for you and your workouts. These need to be respected. You"ll be amazed at how much easier a workout is to keep if you have scheduled it ahead of time. To wrap it all up, by eliminating your excuses and just taking action with your workouts, you and your body will reap the benefits.
