Songwriter, keyboardist and singer, Ron Lewis taps into the Country and Bluegrass genre to create the character “Beau Guss”. Although Beau Guss is a fictional Country/Bluegrass star, he charms his simulated fans with humorous songs and country lingo in the ambience of a live concert. You will laugh as Beau Guss takes center stage in front of his screaming fans and sings “Happy Country Song” where nothing ever goes wrong. Beau Guss puts on a real performance keeping the crowd pumped up with every song. Oh, and Beau travels with his fictional band and back-ups. There’s the Fay-King singers and Artie-Fishel on the banjo. Ron Lewis calls this a concept CD. “I wanted to create a CD that captured the persona of a Bluegrass singer using digital audio instead of writing a book about a Bluegrass/Country singer. I think this CD conveys Beau Guss’s persona very well and at the same time leaves enough room in every listeners mind to imagine what Beau Guss must really be like” Will there be more Beau Guss CDs in the future? Ron Lewis believes so. “The response to this CD has been overwhelming. Everyone who loves this genre loves the Beau Guss CD. They catch themselves singing Beau Guss songs throughout the day. Yes, I believe you will be seeing more fictional superstar concept CDs in the future. Including Beau Guss.”
