Sensible Spirituality-Linking the Soul to the Life purpose By Nita Hickok ©2006 The people who study spirituality are all seekers of the reasons for their life. The many people who write upon this subject show this. All of the books upon lightworkers mention the reason people with certain soul types are called lightworkers. Many of the souls of today are from Atlantis, and other eras that had spiritual and natural catastrophes. Any time where evil prevails and causes major changes in consciousness I call a spiritual and natural catastrophe. World Wars, the Inquisition, and genocide are all examples of this. They are here for helping humankind but they also need to help themselves stay connected and healthy in their lives. We are all incarnate in this life at this time for a reason. Anyone who watches the news can tell that this world and our cultures are having another choice in their spiritual development. Any group that talks and acts on killing off any ethnic group, religion or terrorism is affecting our spiritual development. It does not matter how they rationalize or justify it they have lost their way. The classic example now is the Middle East. How can anyone say that one side or the other is not affecting our spiritual consciousness? Religion is different from spirituality. Religion justifies and rationalizes forms of behavior that are not acceptable to anyone or anything. It does not matter which religion as humankind always has people forming groups that adhere to the evil or negative energies by their actions. The doctrines of the religions are perfect yet what humankind does with that doctrine is the problem. All of the major religions are dual natured. They include a good and bad side to everything. The Oriental religions have Yin and Yang. Christianity has God and the Devil. Judaism has God and the Evil inclination that proves whether we are worthy of Gods creation. The Muslim religion has God and the Devil by a different name. All of them are religions that advocate love yet have splinter groups that cause much discord and woe in the world. How can all of this discord exist in the shapes and forms of God? The conclusion I have come to is that each of us is born with a soul of a certain soul group. The different souls interpret God depending upon the beliefs and religion that the soul adheres too for a specific lifetime. It means that someone can be born in a Buddhist environment yet their soul leads them to Christianity. The same is true for any country, religion, and race. Everyone on this earth is born into a soul group with a purpose. The souls that seek after spirituality can develop problems unless they align themselves with a version of God, which involves choosing which religion the soul relates to in this life. All religions are spiritual along with their doctrine to help us live better and get along with the rest of humankind. It means that one religion is better for YOUR personal soul than the others are. It does not mean that one religion is superior over all of the others except for the individual. I wonder how many wars of hatred could be stopped with this concept. The divine is present in every form of worship as he created all of them, and their various shapes, names and worship. Religions are just how we interpret a concept that is not comprehensible to our minds. No one born upon this earth is perfect or can understand all of the manifestations and levels of the divine. The problems that a spiritual person has are that with all of the things going on with religions they refuse to adhere to one. They stay separate and lose the protection and connection to their soul purpose. It means that everyone into spirituality is responsible to study the doctrine behind every type of magic or religion that started that type of magic. They should see how their life goes when they practice magic or the religion and continue to do so. The way the soul reacts when the wrong choices are made is by creating an environment where the person finds out their true path. It can take many years for this to happen and depends upon how stubborn the person is in their lives. The souls that are not seekers are normally the ones that accept one religion and practice it. They do not have the questions that the spiritual person does and just have simple faith. The disharmonies that are created in the person’s life are a result of the wrong choice or not adhering to the principles in which they believe. The major areas affected are health, mental attitude, and communications. All of these push the person towards the correct decisions. The correct decisions always involve the ethics, and beliefs of their soul and soul group. It means that certain actions and emotions can cause much sorrow and pain. The ethics and actions of the person have to respond to the soul group ethics and actions. A person who does not hate others will find himself or herself becoming ill if they start hating someone or wanting justice. Once the person makes the correct decision, they feel a moment like being in a large family. The things they believe in their heart are included in their choice and the religion has ceremonies, celebrations, and rituals that fit their soul’s requirements to exist happily and follow its path. The purpose of their soul comes alive and they can find what they seek in their spiritual life. Yet many people fight against their soul nature for most of their life. The ethics of a religion and the adherence to them naturally shows a way to find the souls home. The acceptance by the person of the religion and the religion accepting the person’s beliefs will balance the energies. Once the proper belief system is found, all of the energy of the religion is then accessible to help remove the disharmonies and aid in healing. The connection between the body and soul becomes balanced by the energies and people can move forward in their path. Problems will occur again if the person does not stick to the ethics and makes the wrong choices. They will feel cut off and will be unable to rejoin the group until the emotions, choices and actions are changed and released. It has to be done with sincerity and along the guidelines of the soul family, which governs their energies. It will weaken their aura and their energies so negativity can find them and harm them until they do find their way home. The simplest way to do this is to give yourself a name of the religion of your soul group that has a special meaning that you wish to develop. Wicca has the person choosing their magical name plus a secret name. I believe everyone into magic and spirituality should choose his or her soul name and keep it secret. You should give out the name you wish others to know you by but the soul name is private and should be kept that way. It will link your soul to your body and remove the disharmonies that happen because of not being linked to the beliefs that open you up to the God forces that your soul needs to exist. In most cultures, the parents give the name with out knowing the soul that fills the child. They do the best they can but everyone should pick their own special soul name to avoid problems. It is amazing the different and positive effects this can have in a spiritual person’s life. It removes many ways for negativity to hook to a person, and opens them up to goodness in their lives. The only way to describe it is that you will feel your soul sing. A simple example of this is a person who wants to bring peace to others. He is a Christian and picks the soul name of Gabriel. Another example is that of a person who practices magic. They want to name themselves after truth so call themselves Maat after the Egyptian God of truth. It is your soul name and the qualities you wish to develop. No one else needs to know which choice you make just as long as it fits your soul. I hope that many readers with problems try this method. I know you will thank yourself for doing so in an improved life. I cannot count the benefits and hope some of you write and tell me of the improvements.
