What Is Love

The worst pain is to feel lonely,
not to have someone by your side
Some think they do not need the comfort,
well they are wrong, I know I have tried

To feel a friendly arm around you,
or the warmth of a tight embrace
To tell a special person I love you,
and watch a smile come upon her face

The beauty of being with a loved one,
and knowing they will always be there
And in your heart you become as one,
your souls you both will share

The heat and smooth skin of another,
as the two spirits become entwined
The communication between some lovers,
is not always so easy to find

There is making love and then having sex,
the two are not the same
And to those who do not understand,
to them it is only a game

This passion is like a fire,
consuming within us all
Impossible to extinguish it,
once you have gotten the call

It is loud and unforgiving,
each one of us will learn it's sound
And when you understand the message,
it will be true love you have finally found.
