I enjoyed this book very much, was fascinated by the descriptive story of a young boy battling cancer, who one night leaves with the Sandman on a journey to the desert, rides the wild camels, sees secrets of the desert and is led to the home of the Uighurs, a band of people living near the Desert of Lop. This is an inspirational read for children with disabilities, and offers information on the desert and wild camels. Highly recommended.
