  • Trusting Your Sources  By : David E. Twichell
With all of the information out there concerning the UFO/abduction phenomenon, complete understanding of its mechanism is a next to impossible task. Type “UFO” into Google and you will find almost four million sites on the subject. Most of these sites are nonsensical or highly speculative in nature. There are a lot of them, however, that offer well known or little known cases by respected scientists, UFOlogists, PhDs or honest, credible citizens who have witnessed unknown craft and/or their occupants. How does one discriminate between them?
  • Thin Film Technology In Solar Panel Application  By : Pam Eisenberg
The thin film solar panels are one of the newest breakthroughs in the booming solar industry. Compared to the thicker type of solar panels, they are much thinner and affordable, and may well lead to a much wider use of solar energy in the near future.
  • The Invisible Ether and Michelson Morley  By : MStrauss
Modern scientists adopted the ancient concept of the ether to explain the fundamental nature of the universe. Einstein allegedly dethroned the ether concept with his space time continuum. In spite of this, we might have to revisit the ether concept.
  • The Best Sights For Astronomy  By : Ann Noonan
What are the best sights for astronomy? That's hard to say. There is so much out there that the determination of what are the best sights for astronomy probably requires you to do some advance study and decide for yourself what you'd like to learn about.

  • Scientific Snake Oil  By : Ed Howes
When a thing is scientifically proven, it's good for us right? Probably not.
  • Science is Playing Catch-up with ET Technologies  By : David E. Twichell
Among the many, seemingly impossible, characteristics reported in UFO/abduction cases, there are two elements that stand out as the most unfeasible in the view of conventional wisdom. The first is “invisible” or “transparent” UFOs. In “Sight Unseen” by Budd Hopkins and Carol Rainey (Atria Books, NY. 2003), several documented cases are cited where only the person or persons being abducted are able to see the craft in the sky above them, while others around them are totally oblivious to its presence.
  • Research in Social Sciences: Qualitative and Quantitative Methods  By : verena
Research in social sciences largely depends on measurements and analysis and interpretation of numerical as well as non numerical data. Quantitative research methods focus on statistical approaches and qualitative methods are based on content analysis, comparative analysis, grounded theory, and interpretation.

  • Mass Extinction  By : Dennis E. Coates, Ph.D.
Most biologists believe the Earth is undergoing the sixth mass extinction to occur since the beginning of the planet. Even if you're concerned, the problem is so huge that it's hard to think about it.

  • Joy to the Fishes?  By : Dennis E. Coates, Ph.D.
The Indian River Lagoon in Florida has more diverse sea life than any other body of water in America. But it is being slowly polluted and the sea life is dying. Can the facts presented by a world-renowned expert do any good?
  • Japanese Pronunciation Vs. Katakana  By : Scott Brady
As a native English speaker hearing non-natives (especially Asians) trying to speak the English language I sometimes can’t help but chuckle, or cry, over the way they slaughter the words. As I presently reside in Japan and understand the Japanese writing system I have come to understand, in one word, why they tear apart the English language... Katakana!
  • Is The Day of UFO Disclosure Near?  By : David E. Twichell
With the recent admission of true “unknowns” in the skies above Mexico, the American truth embargo concerning the UFO phenomenon is loosing its effectiveness. Mexico is the latest country to officially declare UFOs as a phenomenon worthy of validation and serious scrutiny by the mainstream scientific community. France’s “COMETA Report” was the first to publicly release documentation of highly credible cases and conclude that the unknown objects are “real and probably of extraterrestrial origin.” Their analysis was suffixed with criticism of the American government for dragging its heals in admitting the same to its people.
  • Is Bovine Hemoglobin The Smoking Gun in Cattle Mutilation Cases?  By : David E. Twichell
The only known modern biochemical process to produce pure hemoglobin from human or animal blood is in a laboratory with chemicals, a centrifuge and strict temperature control. Yet, of all the impossible and improbable anomalies discovered in scores of cattle mutilations around the world each year, since the 1950s, pure bovine hemoglobin can now be added to the list.
  • Historicising Indian Psychiatry  By : Amitranjan
Our historical endeavour to map Indian psychiatry has largely remained linear, positivistic and evolutionary.
Whether it starts from the ancient times or modern, it shows our past as a tale of victory for the western
science, without questioning the borrowed paradigm. The use of historical methods for serious enquiry of
psychiatry has been ignored. Emergence of a new genre of historicism that is critical of both colonialism and
psychiatry as a universal science, has raised hopes to critically review the emergence of psychiatric knowledge.
  • Galactic Mystery - Matter - On the Dark Side  By : MStrauss
Scientific inquiry can be described as a sequence of observations leading to a hypothesis which must be tested by experimentation. The results either validate or invalidate the hypothesis which was under test. Unfortunately, the interpretation of the data sometimes does not elucidate some new truth but rather eclipses our thoughts into a new era of ignorance.
  • Energy Problem - How Bad Is It?  By : Pam Eisenberg
Most people are not aware but we are slowly but surely depleting our energy/resources. So how bad is it really?
  • Elemental Chemistry for Everyday Needs  By : Matt Bishop
If chemistry was not your strong suit in school, maybe you could use the help of a convenient refresher now and then. If so, you can easily find easy-to-read online Websites listing chemistry’s periodic table. You don’t have to worry about finding a readable library tome or bookstore publication, nor will you have to look up this key information in a scientific journal or outdated guide.
  • E=mc2 is Wrong - Einstein's Special Relativity Fundamentally Flawed  By : MStrauss
In 1905, Albert Einstein published 'On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies' now known as Special Relativity; this theory revolutionized geometry, math, physics, science and the classical perspective of the universe as understood since Newton's time. However, were there intrinsic errors in this theory?
  • Culture and Mental Health  By : Amitranjan
To deliver effective and efficient mental health services to the larger section of society, desigining programmes based on culture and community would be the best option.
  • Channeling ET and the Orb Phenomenon  By : David E. Twichell
One of the more elusive aspects of the UFO/abduction phenomenon is the ability to telepathically communicate with other-dimensional beings, or channeling, that is alleged by some of those involved in the abduction process. I am presently involved in the investigation of one such “channeler”. During our first experiment, some very interesting anomalies presented themselves. The subject of this investigation wishes to remain anonymous. Therefore, she will hereafter be referred to as “Martha”.
  • Can the Aging Process Be Stopped?  By : Royane Real
For thousands of years people have been wondering why we have to grow old. Now scientists are wondering too. Researchers are trying to discover the causes of aging, and it's even possible they may eventually find a cure for the aging process.
  • Big Bang Booming - Back to the Future  By : MStrauss
Theoretical cosmologists spend much of their time perfecting what is now known as the 'Big Bang' theory. This concept originates from ideas percolating in the minds of scientists, theologians and astronomers down through the ages. However, much of what they consider as proof for the 'Big Bang' is dependent upon uncontrolled experimentation that is molded to meet their expectations.
  • Beads – The Latest Thing for a Long, Long Time  By : Sally Taylor
This article tells about the 100,000 year old history of bead making and what the craft reveals about ancient civilizations.
  • Anomalous Energy Patterns Detected at Bovine Excision Sites.  By : David E. Twichell
In Levengood’s scientific thesis, “Consistency in Patterns of Energy Distributions at Worldwide Bovine Excision Sites” ( 2006), he observes, “there is an energy pattern infused into the soil and grass in the immediate region around the animal, and extending outward in a radial manner. The type of energy applied, increases the thermodynamic free energy of both the grass and soil. These free energy changes are consistently observed in most all excision cases examined in this laboratory.” This energy pattern extends outward from two to thirty feet from the carcass.
A well-known aspect of animal excision cases is the fact that other animals refuse to venture into the area where the carcass was discovered long after the carcass has been removed.
  • Anomalies Found in Roswell Metal  By : David E. Twichell
In 1996, Linda Moulton Howe, UFO investigator and author, submitted a piece of metal to biophysicist W. C. Levengood, of Grass Lake, Michigan, for analysis. The metallic fragment is alleged to have come from the debris field of the famous Roswell, New Mexico UFO crash of 1947.
  • Amazing New Hubble Pics  By : Ann Noonan
New Hubble pics - how exciting! The latest of the new Hubble pics is of a black hole, which they've captioned as being in need of a home.
To get these new Hubble pics a team of astronomers, all from Europe, combined the power of the Hubble Space Telescope with that
  • A Brief History of Creation  By : Clara Szalai
How is there something from nothing? A dynamic logical structure provides a new paradigm stating that reality is perception. The Holophanic loop logic is responsible for a consistent and complete worldview that not only describes, but also creates whatever can be perceived or experienced.
  • "We Don't Know What We are Talking About" - Nobel Laureate David Gross  By : MStrauss
Science has reached an enormous impasse. From biology to physics, astronomy to genetics, the scientific community is reaching the limits of understanding which often presage a complete rethinking of long-accepted theories. So characteristic of this new apex of modern arrogance is the inability to comprehend the obvious in physics: That we don't know what we are talking about.
